kale salad


done. i have become the quintessential urban woman thing. im posting recipes on my blog. i think i like it...

this is the most satisfying and delicious way to get your green on.

raw kale, chop it
dried cranberries, sprinkle
goat cheese, crumble
raw onion, thinly slice
raw almonds, place strategically
olive oil & red wine vinegar, douse
lemon squeeze
salt, pepper

love

let it sit for a bit.

crunchy, sweet, salty, tangy yum yum.

well ... I just learned that in order not to overeat (if anyone you know has that problem) is to have the five flavors in every meal. your kale salad could be right on target. the five flavors are: sweet (onion and almonds) sour (vinegar and cheese) astringent (almonds) salty (salt) and pungent (onions).
